Created an orkut account now. Ater 3 long years in the college, i got the initiative to create an orkut account now. Met a lot of school friends again after 5 years. Those days at school are gone. We enjoyed a lot, studied well (with 'kasi'). All that excitement is no more. My 9 years at school are the most memorable days. My 2 years in intermediate are the most sucking. Now it's the mix of both. Had fun at school, felt stress in inter, having both at present.

THE CHRONICLES OF MY BIKE
Firstly, thanks to Harish Baba who accompanied me to get my bike sacrificing his singing competition.
At last i bought a bike. It's a red one and looks pretty much like a commuter bike but it's a powerful one. It's very easy to convince parents regarding buying bikes etc. I tried to explain my problems in roaming around hyderabad. The job of waiting at a bus stop for a bus, boarding the fully crowded bus and reaching the destination is a big headache. At last when you reach the destination you find your legs aching, head gone mad in the rush etc. You can't enjoy the journey on a whole. This is what i said to my parents to convince them. They had an even more strong reason to convince me. Their worry is about the heavy traffic in hyderabad roads and how would i cope up with that. Of course, everyone agrees with the fact that hyderabad roads are too dense. Roads in hyderabad constitute only 6% of the total area where as in Mumbai roads constitute 10% of the city area. This is where our government should look at and respond. But it is too far from reality that our government acts at appropriate time. I was sick of convincing them and at last gave up. Now comes the irony. I watched the movie "Gandhi" one day and also read a lot of notes on Gandhi though i knew a lot about him. An article mentioned that the success fo Gandhi is attributed to his quality of "Satyagraha". This is the main weapon which brought independence to india. At once i thought that i could use this weapon and stopped calling home. Usually i speak to home at least 40 minutes daily. I denied from calling home for 3 days. The next day mom called me and asked what was the problem. I said i wont talk to you unless i was given what i asked. Of course, that was not in my mind. If mom wouldn't have called that day, then i would have definitely called her. But owing to my luck mom called me and clarified the problem. Thats it. I got the grants. The next step would be to go after the selection of the bike. There were many bikes in the market today. The main postulates i took care of while taking a decision are
1) Company(brand equity). 2) Engine and Mileage. 3) Gear Box. 4)Style in the order of preferences respectively. The bikes i considered were 1) Unicorn. 2)Achiever. 3)Apache. 4)Discover. 5)Pulsar.
The much happening "Pulsar" bike was ruled out in the prelims only on one reason that dad didn't like it.
Coming to Unicorn, it's engine is great and mileage is reasonable. Gear box is very smooth with 5 gears. But the only problem that dad pointed out was that it sported the new single suspension rather than the conventional dual suspension. This created a bit of dilemma. It's tail is too steep and delicate (looks like). This is not a good sign. The bike should be ruf n tuf. Coming to the company, honda is an internationally acclaimed company but it didn't prove itself in india.
The next one to look at was Discover. The problem with discover is that it is a 125CC bike where as all others are 150CC bikes. Also, the visor of discover is (Yaccccc) disgusting. These are enough to eliminate it.
Coming to TVS APACHE , it is the BIKE OF THE YEAR 2006 but takes time to come into the market. I don't think i can have a TVS bike. I simply don't like the brand.
The next entry is the HH Achiever. The brand name HH(Hero Honda) is astounding. Only company which sold 4.5 lac bikes in one fiscal year. So it bagged full points regarding brand. Secondly i am concerned about the engine, mileage and gear-box. The engine and gear-box of HH Achiever are the same as Unicorn. The only difference between the unicorn and HH Achiever is the external body and the shock absorber system. HH Achiever uses the conventional dual shock absorber system which is highly adaptable and time-tested on indian roads. So it secured full points in this aspect also. Coming to the mileage, the road tests revealed that on 6 litre petrol, Pulsar gave a mileage of 330km, CBZ gave 295km, Unicorn gave 375km and HH Achiever gave 400km. Hence, the mileage is more than reasonable. Considering the past records also HH bikes are very good at mileage. So they are reliable. Another added point is that HH after sales services are the best in india with 6 free services and 3 year warranty. Coming to the most happening aspect "STYLE". This bike definitely lags at style, i do agree but i don't think style matters much for me. Anyway this bike is not that ugly to look at. It is okay. Why do you wanna be so stylish? Do you have anyone to impress or flirt? This is the basic question to put before considering the style factor. I guess i don't need to. So i excluded the style factor. After all, i liked the bike and most importantly dad liked the bike. This is enough to take a decision. I finally bought Red HH Achiever.

Wasting a lot of time
Time management is a big challenge. I am consistently challenged by the issue of managing my time. I find it so difficult to maintain the planned schedule. I even started analysing where am i loosing my time. My daily activity is abysmally poor. I hardly read 2 hours a day. I strongly analysed the reasons for this kind of crap. I blame the following for eating up my time :-
1.Computer : Of course this is the root cause of all the evils
2.Blogs : I am infested by a disease "Blogaria". The symptoms are killing time, hopelessly searching for blogs. Though i was able to catch up some useful blogs but most of them are crap. Don't confuse this disease with writing blogs or reading regular blogs. Believe me "Writing blog is a good habit".
This disease is only concerned with searching for blogs hopelessly.
3.Movies : Movies can be watched for timepass when you get rid of all your work. But my bloody problem is that if i spend an hour in useful work, i tune the next 2 hours into a movie(however crap it may be). Another hopeless job is to review a movie. Why the heck do u wanna review a movie? what do u get from it? OK you may improve your writing skills but you don't need to have to watch a crap movie for 2 hours and review it.
4.Web : Web is a sphagetti of a large asynchronous data. In simple words, it is a huge dump of all crap.. Then why do you wanna view all the obscure topics viz. 'megafans', 'shahrukh fans', 'idlebrain', 'some crap gossips'. Don't you think this is an excuse to kill time?
5.Procrastination: This has been the biggest enemy of not just me but most of my peers. If we got to do a task now then the very next thought in our thoughts is 'light raa! let's do it later'. This kind of attitude is highly prevalent and believe me this is gonna damage us in a long run. I read an article on attitude a week back. Procrastination ruthlessly assassinates your attitude. Let's shun this evil.
Thank god! I don't play games. If i do so i would have got succumbed totally.
The only way out for me is to renounce some comforts in life. Firstly, i'm gonna break my LAN card or give it to someone else(not for free). Secondly, go to bed by 12 and wake up by 7.
I don't think i can do the second one. But let me give a try. There's nothing wrong in trying.
All buddies who are facing similar problems do consider these norms. These may help you. Hoping for a better personality development.
'Attitude' and 'Time Management' are inevitable traits for ones development which are unfortunately not taught in the universities. We need to be proactive in conquering them.

Birthday Post
I thought to post this on my b'day but as we
know Blogger 'sucks' big-time. Secondly, WLAN sucks.
Today is a memorable day for me. Never before celebrated a birthday of this magnitude. Thanks to sarathchandra. He was the one behind this bash. I loved it to soul. The chronology of events goes as follows.
We were getting back to college after the coaching class from the heavy traffic of mehindipatnam. Sarath asked me to stop at "The Universal Bakery" which is indeed very famous in hyderabad. He ordered a cake (butterscotch) and reminded me of my birthday. I was very much delighted as i found someone who cares for my birthday.
The next day i.e. today we brought the cake at aroung 8.30 PM. After that attended a boring
LCS lecture. Came back to hostel. Late at night at around 12.05 AM we started the bash. And this is what happened

Life Today
Till the last 5 minutes i was very happy, enjoying every moment of my life. But "Blogger" and "Firefox" are making my life miserable and pathetic. I was sucked to the threshold that i felt to f**k both of them all ends up. F**k Blogger and Firefox. These two bitches are making my life deplorable.
Another great accessory is my cell-phone. Never did i get a direct call to speak for the last 3 months. My cell-phone doesn't accept incoming calls due to bad signal. If by some luck, i get an incoming call, the call quits as soon as i try to answer. This gives a bad gesture to the caller that i myself cut the call to avoid him/her. This is the lamentable condition of my life.
God! Please help me. I already ruined my lifestyle, sleeping at late nights and waking up late. These extravaganzas are leading to further chaos. Whenever i get into mood for blogging, both firefox and blogger start sucking. They test a lot of my patience. For many days i consoled myself pretending that all these new sense is a test to my patience, not any more. I can't bear with this shit anymore. I will have to anticipate an alternative.
Till 10 minutes ago, i was in a great mood to blog about all the pretty things but these hideous creatures, of course non-living things drove me crazy and here i am completely screwed up and blaming my fate.
I cooled down a little bit now. Past is past. Let's move on. The only good thing that i did(am going to do now) in this week is sleeping before 12.00 today. I made up my mind and i am gonna do it for god sake. Watched a lot of movies and studied nothing this week. Yesterday i watched "Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon". By the time i completed the movie it's already 2.00. I started another movie "The Miracle" and watched it till 4.30. Oh god!! I need somebody to look after me. I am going awry these days.
